Amawa Cultural Center is an Indigenous-led nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and community engagement.
Rooted in the Kichwa tradition, we create welcoming spaces where Indigenous Knowledge, creativity, and cultural heritage are honored and shared with the broader community.
Through cultural programs, exhibitions, workshops, traditional arts, music, oral history, and community events, Amawa Cultural Center connects generations , supports Indigenous artists, and promotes intercultural understanding.

Kichwa Language Bingo
An interactive program that teaches the Kichwa language through bingo, storytelling, and language learning fun for all ages.
Community Conversations & Cultural Exchange
Bringing together Indigenous communities, students, scholars, and public through conversations, cultural exchange, storytelling, and educational events that foster understanding and connection.
Indigenous Leadership Development
In partnership with Morten Group LLC, Amawa Cultural Center participated in a leadership development program designed to strengthen Indigenous leadership, community collaboration, advocacy, and organizational capacity.

A community storytelling initiative that preserves the voices, histories, and lived experiences of Kichwa women in the diaspora through oral history, writing, and cultural documentation.
